True Prosperity
True prosperity is
when your soul prospers. When your soul prospers then everything else lines up
and you will have good health and financial provision.
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I
pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul
prospers.
2 Corinthians 8:9 for
you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for
your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. Chapters
8 and 9 are talking about our money, wealth and financial situation.
If you desire
financial blessings, give to the poor: Psalm 41:1 A Psalm of David. Blessed is
he who considers the poor; the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
If your heart is
right before God and you love Him about all else then you will not love money. 1
Timothy 6:10 for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which
some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves
through with many sorrows.

This is the attitude
of a giver who will prosper.
Luke 6:27 “But I say
to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
Luke 6:28 “bless
those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.
Luke 6:29 “To him who
strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him, who takes
away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.
Luke 6:30 “Give to
everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask
them back.
Luke 6:31 “And just
as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
Luke 6:32 “But if you
love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love
those who love them.
Luke 6:33 “and if you
do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even
sinners do the same.
Luke 6:34 “And if you
lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you?
For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.
Luke 6:35 “But love
your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward
will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the
unthankful and evil.
Luke 6:36 “Therefore
be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
God wants us to put
others first. When we love God by loving our fellow Christian, neighbor and
enemy, it will open up a new world for you and you will have the abundant life
that He is talking about.
Luke 6:38 “Give, and
it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and
running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you
use, it will be measured back to you.”

1 John 3:16 By this
we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay
down our lives for the brethren.
1 John 3:17 But
whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his
heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
1 John 3:18 My little
children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
2 Co 9:6 But this I
say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows
bountifully will also reap bountifully.
2 Co 9:7 So let each
one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God
loves a cheerful giver.
When God is first in
your life all else comes together. Having your heart right before God is the
most important thing that you can do. God wants a loving relationship with you.
Talk to Him and listen to what He is saying and He will guide you with the Holy
Spirit into all of the blessings of the Kingdom of God. Sometimes you just need
to sit before Him and be quite and just enjoy His fellowship and wonderful
presence.
